Happy Bastille Day! Not that we're celebrating, just thought I'd mention it.
Beth had toast, fruit and juice for breakfast; I had to go off to work for part of the afternoon. She stayed home with Tom, just hanging around.
When I got home, she finally decided to go swimming. (It took her forever to get ready!) It's a great pool day, nice and hot, makes the water feel great. When she finally got in the water, she headed straight for the lounger! No way! I encouraged her to do some laps, and with a bit resting in between, she did several. No dives today, though.
In the afternoon, about 5 p.m., we got ready to go visit Andrea at her assisted living home, where they were having a big Hawaiian Luau. There was a band, and dancing, and an open buffet. Beth had a little plate of snacks while we visited with Andrea. Vince was there too, so we got to catch up with him, too.
Then, home again! We had the last of the leftovers for dinner. (No complaints!)
