Isn't it always a good day when you get to start it with a homemade waffle for breakfast?
Beth seemed to think so. She savored every bite!
I had a meeting out over lunch, so we were at home in the morning and the afternoon. Beth was home with Tom while I was gone. At about 3 p.m.,Beth went back to visit her friends at Curves. I think she had a good workout.
It was hot here! Sunny and steamy. We told Patsy we'd meet her and the kids for a little shopping at an entrepreneur's stand from her work. We met there -- Poppy, Graham and Lily -- and bought a couple of little things to help out the kids from the city. They were selling crafts they'd made. We got a little birdbath and a couple of bows.
Then, off to the grocery for us. (We were out of coffee -- can't have that.) We went to the grocery store in Prairie Village; nearby, but I'm not really familiar with it. I couldn't find anything and forgot half the stuff we were going to get.
At home, I made dinner. We had a nice big omelet with ham, asparagus, tomato and feta cheese. Yummy! Plus a Caesar salad and some watermelon.
Then time to get ready for bed!
