Friday -- you know what that means! Time for another Rotary meeting!
Beth realizes that it will be her last one, and tells everyone so. She's very bright and cheerful this morning, a little less shy. She stands up and waves when she is introduced to everyone.
She just loves it, she talks about it the rest of the day.
Back at home, she works on her art while I'm working nearby. The hits keep playing over and over: James Taylor and Carole King, then KD Lang, volume 1 and 2, then James Taylor Greatest Hits. Sometimes Sarah, Simply Red, but those are the staples that she plays over and over on this trip.
I go to meetings in the afternoon, and Beth goes with Tom to visit Andrea. There's a little party at her place, so Beth gets a second buffet -- this time for lunch. She really likes it, although I heard two stories about how many chips and dip she had. Tom said she got a plateful, with a huge glop of dip. Beth said she had just a few, not many, and just a dab of dip. Hmmmmm.
Back at home in the afternoon, it's another pool day. I work outside while Beth swims. She really has a good workout today, in the water until about 6:15 p.m. when the pool guys come to clean up.
We decide to take it easy for dinner. I have some shrimp with cocktail sauce and we order a pizza.
By the time we're done with that, it's time for the evening clean up and bed!
