Bethie must have been tired -- I've never seen her sleep so late. It was after 8 a.m. before she woke up.
She had breakfast and then we went out running errands, here and there. We also went to Target and got her some stuff. When we were ready to leave, it was pouring down rain.
Beth says, "Nancy, where's the umbrella?" Well, it's in the car. "Oh, Nancy!" She was so dismayed. We ran out to the car (a long way, because I always park far from the door where nobody else parks, just to stay away from the crazy drivers). We got soaked!
We remembered Scott's birthday, and called. I hope he liked our singing Happy Birthday on his voicemail.
Later in the afternoon, we stopped by to visit with our friend Max at his house. We'd hoped to sit outside in his garden, but it was still raining. We chatted inside, and then headed home. Beth was getting sleepy.
At home, we ordered a pizza. Beth took a shower, and then when she came down, our pizza was here. Yummy! Then off to bed.
