We are up early, Beth is going to come with me to an all-morning meeting in Lawrence, Kansas. It's a 40 mile drive, so Beth has a banana and some yogurt in the car. She keeps up a non-stop chatter the entire way there. She's laughing and cheerful.
We get there, and Beth joins us in a nice conference room. While I'm meeting with a couple of KU folks, Beth gets to work on her art. She's great, and enjoys the change of scenery. She shakes hands with everyone she meets and is very polite.
On the way back, we stop for a sandwich at Classic Cookie. We bought a few cookies, too. Yummy.
We have lunch at home, and then it's about time for Curves. They open at 3 p.m. and that's a good time to go because it's not too crowded yet. The lady there remembers Beth and starts keeping a log for her. Beth signs in, printing her name neatly on the sheet.
After the exercise, we're back at home, Beth changes and then plays some music and also works on her drawing a bit. I work at my desk in the kitchen with her, and we chatter back and forth.
Then time for dinner, then Beth is off to bed!
